Sacraments – Weddings – Memorials

From the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Communion to weddings, funerals, or memorial services, Trinity Wilmette offers the opportunity to mark significant life events with meaningful rituals in the tradition of the United Methodist Church.

Weddings

Trinity Wilmette’s stunning Sanctuary is available for weddings under the leadership of our pastoral staff.  We will help make your ceremony special and meaningful.  Membership in Trinity Church is not required.  Pastoral leadership can be offered at our location or at another site you have chosen.

Baptism

The Sacrament of Baptism welcomes individuals into life in the family of God. We baptize infants, children, youth, and adults throughout the year.

Confirmation

Confirmation classes for 7th and 8th grade youth discuss Christian beliefs and the tenants of Methodism to encourage youth to explore, discern, and grow in faith through service and community building.  A meaningful ceremony affirms their faith journey and place in the community of faith.

Communion

The Sacrament of Holy Communion or the Lord’s Supper sustains and renews us as a sign of God’s grace.  At Trinity Wilmette, everyone is welcome and invited to receive gluten-free bread and grape juice.

Memorial Services

Memorial Services give grieving family and friends the ability to mourn their loss, find hope in God, and give thanks for the life of their loved ones. Trinity Wilmette’s beautiful memorial garden is also available for the ashes of church members.  Church membership is not required for funerals or memorial services at our location, funeral home, or other site.
