“Do all the good you can, in all the ways you can, to all the souls you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, for all the people you can, as long as ever you can.”
Thank you for supporting the ministry and mission of Trinity Wilmette. Giving to the church enables Christ’s ministry to continue and shows our love for God and our neighbors. In this way, we express gratitude for everything God is doing in our lives and the world.

Annual Giving / Pledges
Pledged financial commitments to Trinity Wilmette directly determine what is possible for us to do through mission and service, education and discipleship, and worship and music. Giving annually to the church is one of the ways we express what it means to be part of this faith community. By our generosity, we express our gratitude for what God is doing in our own lives and in the world.
Legacy Giving
Legacy gifts ensure the continued vitality of Trinity Wilmette from one generation to the next. These gifts bring a sense of purpose and fulfillment to the giver while also providing other benefits, such as tax savings. Legacy gifts are not just for those who have wealth or special financial expertise, they are for anyone with a generous spirit who wants to designate their giving while they are living. We are grateful for those who have gone before us who gave us gifts to invest in the ministries of Trinity Wilmette into the future.
Legacy Gifts are most often provided through planned gifts, such as:
- Will or Trust
- Retirement Assets
- Life Insurance Policy (with Trinity Wilmette named as beneficiary)
- Charitable Gift Annuity
- Charitable Lead Trust
- Donor-Advised Fund
- Gifts of Real Estate or Personal Property
- Charitable Remainder Trust
Legacy giving doesn’t have to be complicated: the following language may be used for a bequest of a specific dollar amount, a percentage of your estate, or a description of the property you wish to give.
