Meet Our New Christian Educator!
We are excited to announce that Arunima Sudhakar has accepted the position of Christian Educator for Trinity Wilmette, effective March 3, 2025! Coming from a long line of pastors, Nima is a graduate student at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary who feels called to serve in children and youth ministry and is eager to connect, grow, and become part of our church family. Hi everyone! My name is Arunima, but I go by Nima. I am currently attending Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary to do my Masters in Theological Studies. For undergrad I attended Illinois Wesleyan University, majoring in Biology and Religious Studies. Prior to receiving my calling to help serve in the church, I worked in the medical field and attended a Physician Assistant school.
I come from a long line of pastors (6 generations) and both my parents are currently serving in the Northern Illinois Conference of the United Methodist Church. I have a younger sister who attends Lake Forest College and a fur-baby brother named Archie who is a Shih-Tzu and the love of my life!
In my free time, I enjoy playing piano, singing, cooking, gardening, watching movies/comfort shows, traveling and spending time with my loved ones!
I am so blessed and excited to be joining your congregation to fulfill my own calling in Children and Youth Ministry! I am looking forward to meeting you all, connecting and becoming one family. Thank you for having me!
